Against the Grain, often unwise

Obviously this entire site is a giant opinion piece, but this pizza in particular seems to be made to spite me, and me alone. Little known fact: I really, really hate store brand tomato sauces like Prego or Ragu. This sauce seems to be one of those two. It’s extremely sour, I don’t know how else to describe it. I stopped eating it almost immediately but kept picking at it to give the other elements a try. The crust tastes like wet goldfish, which took me a bit to recognize. Well, to be fair, it was the crust and cheese that I combined to get that extremely shit flavor. I even peeled off a few pepperonis to see what they’re all about, because I didn’t even get any pepperoni in the first few bites I had. They were flavorless. Did I mention that the rather large pizza had a grand total of 12 pepperoni slices? How on earth is that acceptable? I guess the point I’m trying to make here is that this pizza is bad and it should feel bad. A lot of the pizzas I have left in my freezer are gluten free, like this, and I am concerned that the rest of the month will be shitty pizza after shitty pizza.

Cons:

  • Nearly everything was bad, and it was big enough to be a whole days worth of calories. To quote the coach from Letterkenny, “FUCKING EMBARRASSING!” (-9 points)
