No, I have never heard of Jimmy’s Pizza

When I first started this slow march to my own death, one of my primary motivators was (obviously) having conversational knowledge about everything in the frozen pizza section, but another was to find hidden gems, so that I could go from 1 go-to pizza to (at least) 2-3. I saw “Jimmy’s Pizza” front and center in Kowalski’s, the same grocery store that was selling Kettle River. They seem to focus on local food, and Jimmy’s pizza is certainly a reflection of that. It brings me great joy to share with everyone that I have found another addition to my short list of go-tos, as this was a surprisingly good pizza.

Pros:

  • Excellent toppings, flavorful sauce, and copious amounts of cheese.

Cons:

  • The crust was JUST a bit too thick, and the whole ensemble occasionally reminded me of a cafeteria pizza. (-1 point)
