I am once again asking you to support Planned Parenthood to honor the friend that purchased this pizza for me. This pizza was one of the few that was recommended to me several times by several people, and I really expected more. A friend had also recently tried it and gave me a few hot tips about cooking it, since it seemed like it was really soggy in the middle for her. My experience was more of the same. The crust was crispy, in typical Detroit fashion, but there wasn’t enough cheese. The sauce (which I didn’t really enjoy since it gave me nasty heartburn) was laid on too thick for the crust. Even though the pizza was nearly burning, I gave it a slight (ACCIDENTAL) tilt on the way out of the oven and it looked like the whole top was about to slide off. So yeah, maybe I messed up while cooking it, but it still didn’t taste that great to me. Outsiders was better.

Pros:

• Every time you take a bite, you hear a KISS song playing in the distance. You can try to follow the sound, but it will forever elude you.

Cons:

• Sauce gave me heartburn, booo. (-1 point)

• Not enough cheese to deliver a proper flavor. (-1 point)

• Needs more toppings. (-1 point)

• I’m beginning to think Detroit style pizza just cannot be frozen. (-1 point)
