Mama Cozzi’s: the Final Chapter

This is it. The 65th and final pizza brand I’ve been able to find in grocery stores. Although, maybe I should add a caveat to this: I will continue to review whatever I find, this is just the end of the ones I’ve found. I’ll save my bullshit for another post after this, let’s get back to the job at hand. Mama Cozzi is an Aldi brand, and I am so happy I saved it for last. It was damn good. It seems like it’s easy to get (assuming you have access to an Aldi store) and aside from a few slight points off, this is fairly good quality. It cooked well, it looked good, it tasted good. I used to think all 3 of those things were a given: if you’re missing one, you’re missing the others. But I know now that all pizzas are not like this. They’re not package deals. Some look bad and taste ok, some look amazing and taste like a chef intentionally fed you rotten food because he wants to be arrested. The point I am trying to make is that this pizza is good.

Pros:

  • Going out on a high note.

Cons:

  • Sauce was good, but a bit too sweet. (-1 point)

  • Could’ve still used more cheese. (-1 point)
